Meet the Media Specialist!
Hello Robert Shaw Theme School community,

My name is Ms. Bush. I am a product of the DeKalb County School District, having graduated from Cedar Grove High School. I earned my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Albany State University. Teaching has always been a passion for me. This is my tenth year working with DeKalb County School District. My classroom teaching experience is connected with various grade levels on the elementary school level. Being the Teacher-Librarian for Robert Shaw Theme School is truly amazing! I love all things connected to reading! My primary goal is to instill a lifelong passion for reading in all of my students. In my free time, I like to do the following things: read, take nature visits, swim, and enjoy family. I look forward to working with our school community! In our Media Center, we take pride in making certain we remind our scholars that our school community is a No Bullying Zone. We have a year-long initiative that weaves Anti-Bullying into everything we do. We take our Anti-Bullying Oath and learn the long-term effects that often result from bullying. Our scholars learn that every person can do something valuable to end bullying. 

Our scholars learn that if they "See something, say something." Get a trusted adult involved.
